Found a Forever Home

I was traveling to work from home after taking care of the pups on lunch break and I saw this poor inocent dog running along a four lane hwy. I pulled over and she jumped right in with me. I took her to work with me, feed and watered her, and she slept most of the day. I have called around to the shelters, humane society, and vets and noone has called in saying they lost their dog. She is the sweetest dog ever, she won the heart of anyone that came in contact with her.
I took her to the vet, got her vet checked and up to date on her vaccines. My brother and I really fell hard for her. I would love to have her, but I already have three in the house and Josh would love to have her as well, but wasn't sure how his fiance's dogs would get along with her, and she is moving in with him this summer.
I called the vets first thing this morning to inform them that I would be there to pick her up today, and they said that one of the workers there totally fell in love with her. So I asked to speak to her.
She is a senior in highschool, she lives with her Dad out in the country, she has a fenced in yard, she works at the vet part time on a work program for school. She explained to me how her dog just passed last week and that this precious girl that I found reminded her of her dog that she lost. She went on about telling me how she would be able to go indoors and outdoors as she pleases. She sounds like just a perfect home. So at 11:15 a.m. today the precious angel that I found went to her new home.

The Big Storm

We got home from the Michigan trip and there was drifts of snow everywhere and almost white out conditions. We were so fortunate to have gotten home safe. The pups were safe and horses we safe. We were under a blizzard warning and under a level 3 condition and told to stay inside and could get arrested if traveling the roads. All in all everything turned out well with us and everyone is happy and healthy.

Michigan Trip

We took a trip to Michigan with our family and had lots of fun. We missed the pups terribly, but they had a wonderful sitter while we were gone. We traveled to Michigan to go snowmobiling. We went around 300 miles total and had no major breakdowns or issues.

We got a call late the night before we left (Monday) from my cousin and he said that there was bad weather heading to Ohio. The news was saying that it was a possible blizzard. The were calling for 10-16 inches of snow and 30 mph winds. So Tuesday morning we heading out at 6 a.m. for a 8 hr drive home. We got about 1 1/2 from home and the roads starting getting really bad. We about lost it a few times, so Jason slowed down to about 45 mph on the main highway. We were traveling at that speed for no more than 15 min and everyone ahead of us starting hitting there brakes. Then we were at a dead stop.
We waited in traffic for 2 hours and found out when we got to the scene of the accident it consisted of a jack knifed cemi that came from the northbound lane to the southbound lane and a car that broke the guardrail and went over the bridge. So the northbound and southbound traffic was at a deadstop. I really hope everyone made it out of the accident ok.
